Anything goes alternative uses

Good Morning!  This week's Challenge from my friend Chris Franco over at www.stampedblessings.com  is anything goes.

My inspiration this weekend came from my friend Janine who is going to have a lovely yet to be named baby girl in a few weeks.  My mind is filled with all things baby and I headed down to my studio and realized hey I don't have anything baby.  "What am I going to do"?  I was already inspired for Fourth of July so can I incorporate this?  The answer is Yes of course.

If you check out the background of the card you will notice starbursts and those are from the new Amuse catalog!  The stamp set is called Bottlerocket.  I used black memento ink, silver stayzon, and bubblegum inks to stamp the starbursts on.  The paper is bubblegum, onyx, silver, and the heart paper I had left  over from Valentine's Day.  I keep all of my scraps for just such and occasion.

Hopefully you are inspired to reexamine your old stamp sets and make something new or buy a new set and imagine the possibilities.

Check out Chris's website and you can purchase any of these wonderful products.

Happy stamping.

Vellum Bear with me.

Happy Father's Day!!

This week's challenge was Vellum.  I had two inspirations this week.  I had my first fight with my best friend in 20 years of friendship.  My thought was Bear with me.

My second frame of thought is how cute would this be for an evening picnic with your kids.  Fill it with teddy grahams, mini marshmellows, and mini hershey's kisses.  You could start a bonfire and have a little card table set up with all the fixings for smores on the table.

Another thought for this is to just put a citronella candle in the jar and have this cute lamp shade over the top and sit out on the patio. Watching lightening bugs with my baby was one of my favorite summer time events.

I am sure there are endless possibilities and the cost is so insignificant that you could do almost anything with any stamp set or cut out.

All of these wonderful items are for sale over on my friend Chris Franco's website.  www.stampedblessings.com.

Wedding

This week's design challenge is Wedding theme.  Everyone loves a good wedding from the flowers, to the cake, to the sheer elegance of the wedding.

My inspiration honestly was the color Mermaid.  I love it!  It goes well with Cherry or Seattle two of my favorite Amuse Studio colors.

This card is on a Seattle card base.

I used the stardust finishing spray on the card base, the flowers, and the sugar layer.

I took the Cosmos paper flowers and pressed them with the Mermaid Ink then I sprayed with the Stardust finishing spray.  There are four and each one is set on the other using dimensionals.

The Sugar card layer was embossed and then pressed with the Mermaid Ink and Stardust finishing Spray.

The retiring Love Me Do stamp set was used for the phrase cut out by the Oval Nestabilities set ontop of one another using dimensionals.

You can find all of these products plus some amazing tutorials over at my friend Chris Franco's website www.stampedblessings.com.
