Anything Goes Design Team Challenge

Welcome Back!  I am back with an anything goes design team challenge.

Every year at Memorial Day we think back to April of 2009 when Frank's best friend and soulmate died serving our country in Iraq.  Anthony Capra!  We were stationed at Lackland AFB when we first met Tony and his lovely wife Angie and their son Mark (18) and in her tummy was her oldest daughter Tori (16).  After a few years they went on to have five more children Jared (14), Shawn (12), Isabelle and her twin (went on to heaven first) and last but definitely not least Anna (10).  So they are my inspiration for this month's anything goes.

We are all getting together next weekend the Lackland Crew and celebrating!  Corey and Reni Biting and their son Matt, and our friend Brian (and his girlfriend who we haven't met yet we hope), Tab, Jason, and their daughter Rebecca and of course Angie, her new husband Ben and all the kids in a reunion to celebrate just being together.  I didn't want Tony to miss out on all of the fun (although he is always with us) so I made this to give to Angie at the party so he can be there in spirit.  We love our little family and are excited to be together even if just for an evening.

Of course I used all A Muse Studio products and you can purchase them over at my good friend Chris's website www.stampedblessings.com

I used cardstock for the background and cut the stars out with the dies.  I used the Xyron to put adhesive on to get the glitter to stick to the stars.  Then using my Silhouettes Cameo I cut out letters in vinyl and put them on the glass.

Cinco De Mayo

This week's challenge was Cinco De Mayo.  But on my mind has been my teen daughter.  She is having teen angst right now.  So I used both as my inspiration.  In the spirit of Cinco De Mayo I used bright colors and flowers.

I used the brayer to create the background using five of the summer colors. For the little Lemon I used Shrinky Dink. and the Pucker Up Stamp Set.

As always you can get any of these wonderful products at my friend Chris's website.
