February 1st Design Team flocking

This weeks challenge was flocking.  My dad's birthday is coming so He was my insiration for this week's challenge.  I love the stamp set mad for plaid so I created the squares using that set along with Mod backgrounds1.  This was a fun and easy card to do and if you switch up color combos the possibilities are endless.

January 24th Challange

Anything goes was this week's challenge for Chris's design team for Amuse Stamped Blessings.

I was thinking of my friend Anne as my inspiration.  I met her my senior year in French Class she was such a big part of my life back then.  As friends do we drifted apart and these past two years we have drifted back together thanks to Facebook.  Anne still goes to France now.  I haven't been yet but it is definitely on my list of places to go.  Thanks for the inspiration my friend!

Happy New Year.  I am so excited to be back in the blogging world.  This past year has been filled with lots and lots of new and exciting things that has lead me to my latest decision.  After 8 years of being a Stampin Up Demonstrator I have resigned.  This is allowing me the wonderful opportunity of joining Chris Franco's design team for A Muse Studio.

What does that mean?  I will be joining Chris over at her blog Stamped Blessings http://stampedblessings.com/for a weekly challenge.

This week's theme is Thank you.  Since I am relatively new to using Amuse products I had to use what was on hand.  Luckily this year for Christmas I decided to make my cards with Amuse products so while rummaging through my stash of craft goodies I came across enough to make this Thank you card.  The card was inspired by my Father in Law.  My inlaws came up from Florida for Christmas and brought me oranges from the orange tree in their yard.
